What is a Barrel Sauna?
The wooden barrel sauna is a mobile garden sauna made of high quality wood. The sauna is ready made and is designed to be used by people of any age and at any time. This is an ideal solution to complement your garden.
Garden Barrel Sauna “Sauna-T24E”
The sauna “Sauna-T24E” is made of high quality thermo-processed spruce wood; its height is 280 cm and diameter is 240 cm. The sauna has one section with enough room for 6 people. The sauna has a hexagonal bitumen shingle roof and is supplied fully assembled. After installation of the roof and the furnace is ready to be used immediately. Usable all year round.
The set of electric heated sauna includes: a barrel sauna, a hexagonal bitumen shingle roof, 9 kW Harvia Cilindro PC90HEE electric heater and remote control Harvia, built-in sauna benches and floor grids.
Thermally Modified Wood
Thermo-processed wood is produced by treating softwood timber in kilns at very high temperatures which alters the cellular structures of the timber and as a result makes the timber far more stable, especially so in changing climates. The process of kilning the timber is environmentally friendly. Thermo-processed wood is made through a chemical-free process using heat vapour and steam. The wood material is heated to a temperature of at least 180 degrees Celsius while it is protected with steam.
As a result of the thermo process the form stability of normal softwoods such as pine and spruce can be significantly improved. Thermal processing completely eliminates resin. Thermal processing increases durability of wood and immunity against impact of environment. For example, thermally processed wood according to its durability characteristics can be compared to oak.
Thermo-processed wood is darker than natural wood, more weatherproof and more resistant to rot. Its insulation qualities are better, it suffers from less moisture deformation and is more stable. The equilibrium moisture is up to 50% less than natural wood, which makes thermo-processed wood a better option for use in outdoor conditions.

Electric Heater Harvia Cilindro PC90HEE and Harvia Remote Control
Harvia Cilindro electric heater’s massive sauna stone amount provides enjoyable sauna bath. The quality-price ratio of this floor mounted heater is excellent.
Cilindro has an apertured outer casing made of stainless steel or white painted zinked steel. You can adjust the nature of the heat from soft to sharp by throwing water either to the side of the heater or straight on top of the stone pillar.
Cilindro has a partially apertured outer casing in the front, which offers the sauna bather the benefits of a large stone amount, but also enables the heater to be located in smaller space. The casing decreases the safety distance requirements, and therefore the heater’s space requirement is small and benches can be located near to it.
In Cilindro H the stone space is made of stainless steel and outer casing is made of black or white painted, zinked steel.
The heaters are equipped with a built-in control unit and the operating switches are placed down on the heater’s front side.

Quality
We carefully evaluate each and every product we sell. All our saunas are made of high quality thermo processed spruce wood. Thermo-treatment is a wood treating process in high temperatures (170 – 230°C) in which moisture, bacteria and acids are removed from the wood. Thermo-processed wood is also very dry and does not “play” any more which makes it perfect for saunas.
